Let the games begin!

Registration for the Creative Activities competitions at the Minnesota State Fair began on April 29.  That day I registered some entries, earlier than I have ever done before.  Now it’s time to put up the goods! 

My pearls are polished and I’m ready to go.  The madness begins with the spring’s rhubarb crop and when that happens, the strawberries and raspberries are not far behind.  Then it’s the stone fruits and by then it’s July!  And before I know it, it’s time to deliver my entries!  Holy moley, where did the summer go?

Oh, the picture at the top of the page?  That’s my ample bosom showing off the three medallions I have been awarded for being the best overall canner at the Great Minnesota Get-Together.  Sweet.  No one else has three of them.  (Modesty doesn’t become me.)  Few have as much fun as I do.
